Chelsea Joy Handler, born on February 25, 1975, on the 25th of February, 1975 in Livingston New Jersey, is the youngest of six children. Her family comprised six members including Chelsea Joy Handler the youngest. The mother of Handler was a domestic worker and her father was employed as a used-car dealer. Her mother immigrated to America in the year 1958 in the form of an immigrant from Germany. After ten long years of combating breast cancer, Handler passed away in 1989. Handler's father is Jewish and she was raised up Reform Judaism. Handler had a pleasant good, healthy and safe childhood in a good neighbourhood. When she was 19 She made the move to Los Angeles, California to pursue a career in acting. Handler was forced to become an actress to live. Handler, who was then at the age of 21 was able to concentrate on stand-up comedy full time when she discovered her story telling skills. Handler's career started as an actress on a cast of all females in the Oxygen channel's reality TV series Girls acting poorly. It was a combination of cameras hidden in the background and funny humor. It was in air from 2002 to 2005. Handler began appearing on other TV shows, such as Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler was also the correspondent of The Tonight Show. Handler had her biggest break in 2006, as she took over hosting of E! known as The Chelsea Handler show. The show lasted for two seasons. Handler appeared on Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour the next time across the United States. VH1, Comedy Central Premium Blend, HBO and Comedy Central have all aired her stand-up comedy shows. She was named as host of the MTV's 2010 MTV Video Music Awards in 2010. She became the second female in history, following Roseanne Barr, to host the VMAs.
